Enhanced Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Relief for YA 2026, Supporting Businesses Amidst Rising Costs

To support businesses navigating rising logistics and energy expenses, the Singapore government has enhanced the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) relief for the Year of Assessment (YA) 2026.

Under these new measures, the CIT rebate rate has been increased from 40% to 50% of the tax payable. To provide further relief, the total benefit cap for the combined rebate and cash grant has also been raised from S$30,000 to S$40,000.
